What is a car GPS tracker?
A car GPS tracker is a small device that reports where a vehicle is, how fast it is moving and where it has been. A satellite fix gives the position, a cellular connection carries it to your phone, and a map turns it into something you can read at a glance.

How do OBD2 car trackers work?
The tracker draws power from the OBD2 port under your dash, reads its position from GPS satellites, and sends that position over 4G LTE to your phone. There is no battery to charge and nothing to wire in.
What happens if someone unplugs the GPS tracker?
